Anyone Know JB Straubel?
I was reading the May issue of Popular Science, on page 70 they show an electric 1984 944 that JB built in 1999. Used 2 DC motors powered by 20 12-volt batteries - increased the weight 850lbs with a 20 mile range. Car could do 0to 60 in 8.7 seconds and had a top speed of 104mph.
Anyone know him?
