She's cute, but I prefer the old goth chick.

Paulporsche 04-25-2007 12:41 PM

That one works. Thanks.

osidak 04-25-2007 12:54 PM

like her much better and i don't have a thing against goth chicks

imcarthur 04-25-2007 12:57 PM

That man does know how to sell cars on eBay. Great ad copy.

But a real burled wood dash?

Price ain't bad (right now) for a 930. Reading through that sales pitch was excruciating however.

I remember that car, that's the non-running one that Mike Z. bought for cheap, got running and flipped.

Lots of inaccuracies in that ad.

MRM 04-25-2007 04:59 PM

She's kind of icky to my taste. At least the Goth chick had nothing hidden. Isn't the 930 designation only appropriate to use for the 1986-1989 turbos?

porsche930dude 04-25-2007 05:47 PM

nope 930 applies to 76-79 turbos and euros up to 86 also i beleive.
I wanna see this goth chick

masraum 04-25-2007 07:06 PM

I think any 911 turbo up until 1989 would be considered a 930

I am familiar with these people as I went to their location to look at an 89 red cab with low miles when I was looking for my cab. Viewing is by appointment only as they are located in a business park. They do an incredible job of preping their cars but I was not sure about the story they were giving me. I was worried about the over detailing of all aspects (engine bay, underside) as I could not tell anything about the condition of the 911. Close examination revealed some overspray and I passed on it. The other odd issue is that they would not let me test drive it. But a PPI at the loca Santa Barbara Porsche dealer was fine with them.

Do you have to wear parachute pants and blast "My Sharona" when you drive it?

It's about as hip as a Gremlin in that color combo with the chromed fuchs and fake wood. Ugly f'king car.

she is awful pasty for being in california.
