I assume it thinks its another bird but you would think it would get a clue. What do you think its deal is and what can I do to make it stop??? I try to scare it away and it just keeps coming back!!!

THere's one where I work that's been running into car windows for over 2 years. It's the most bizarre thing I've ever seen.
|
It started by running into my truck window but migrated to the side of the house - bizarre indeed!!

.177 air rifle. With a good scope. Neighbors will be none the wiser.

Try a decal of the face of a hawk or eagle.

We had one of these when we lived in Atlanta. It kept running into our storm door. It was so focused on the reflection it didn't notice when I opened the door slightly, reached under the door to grab him. I tossed him into a box and drove five miles away and released him.
I was bummed when I was driving down the street and realized the little sucker had beaten me home! He was right back at it! Next time I took him around ten miles away and never saw him again. |
LOL @ Lee.

The reflection is another cardinal and this bird is protecting his turf. If you can figure a way to block the refection you may have some success.
