what was the course this week? I think the issue for the previous races was that they were tight tracks and the LMP1 cars don't really get to stretch out. They were designed for Le Mans, not a city street layout.

Very true, the GT40 may have won Le Mans four times in a row, but it was trounced on many other tracks, and Ferrari still ended up with the title for most of the GT40's years in action.
