Great video of a band performing the Halo theme written by Marty O'Donnell.
I very much enjoyed it. :D
Here's a breakdown
Quote:
This is our band, Corporeal, playing Marty O'donnell's Halo theme (with some embelishments). Hanah- Violin, Dave- guitar, Dave- drums, Robb- bass. Marty Gierczyk(Gear-zick) is our vocalist, who wasn't in this video.
to those who claim we are faking and only playing to a pre-recorded song, we're flattered but that's not the case. We wouldn't own thousands of dollars worth of equipment to fake a 6 minute video on youtube. the mismatching of the video and sound is due to poor video editing and additional camera angles from other takes.
Gear used:
Hanah uses a yamaha electric violin and a digitech gnx 3.
Robb Plays a warwick Fortress masterman bass and uses SWR amps.
Dave VerLee plays a parker nitefly guitar through a digitech gnx4 and a roland gr-33 (the source of the choir and strings). Let it be known here: THE CHOIR IN THE BEGINNING IS TRIGGERED BY THE ROLAND GR-33 GUITAR SYNTH.
Dave Bedell uses Tama starclassic drums,a mix of zildjian, sabian, and wuhan cymbals, but for this video he's using Pearl Session custom drums and Roland TD-6 electric pads.

Apparently the violinist is very big in the classical music world.. an alumni of a prestigious music school of sorts.
