The most appalling & decadent act I have ever witnessed
To add insult to injury, he states that if the 911 was a woman it would be called Helga

Only three years? It seems much longer...
|
I like the one where they try to kill the toyota truck. Drive it into the sea overnight, and get it running with a few tools and WD40.
Would not die. |
this is the worst repost in the history of pelican reposts.

More of a nice curvy Hiedi than a Helga.

I really don't see what the problem is with destroying a post 1973 Porsche. They are worthless pieces of excrement in my opinion. I am a firm believer that Gawd and Ferry Porsche rested after 1973.

tabs - technically, Ferry stopped in '65 wiht the last 356 (unless you count the 10 made in '66 for a dutch police dept.) Butzi is the 911...
|
OK Buttzie it is...Gawd and Buttzie rested after 1973..Ferry just sounds better...and who really cares anyway, except for a people who have to wipe twice so that their panties won't get the big brown skid mark.

Brunhilda (c. 543 – 613) was a Frankish queen who ruled the eastern kingdoms of Austrasia and Burgundy in the names of her sons and grandsons. Initially known as a liberal ruler of great political acumen, she became notorious for her cruelty and avarice. [/history lesson] Or from the Baby Names guide: The girl's name Brunhilda is of Old German origin, and its meaning is "ready for battle". Heroine of the Siegfried legend popularized in the Ring cycle of operas by Richard Wagner. Brunhilda is one of the Valkyrie, maidens who ride into battle. The name has connotations of great physical strength. Of course he could have meant Broom Hilda: https://www.mdientertainment.com/gra...rge_logo/9.jpg |
I thought it was a bit hokey. In the scene where they dropped it you could clearly see that the engine & transmission were out.
At least with the toyota, there was a point: it kept working. With the 911, it was more of a "watch us destroy a 911", instead of, let's see what this car can take. It's actually too bad they didn't put the 911 through realistic abuse, like they did with the Toyota truck. I bet they could put an SC through some pretty amazing abuse and still have it running, although you can't beat a n/a diesel for simplicity. Only need 3 12V wires to get it running. |
That car was a '69-73 longhood, hate to tell ya, look at the front. It has an update kit on the back which could fool you.
The car was obviously a rusty POS if it had lived in England all it's life, and is no great loss to the Porsche world. This coming from a longhood fanatic. I think the bit is hilarious. Long live Clarkson and Top Gear! |
Top Gear is my favorite show it's a laugh.
