Slime bucket dealer

He slaps an S on the back and calls it a wide body.... same dealer who offered a 930 slant and called it a factory slant. Turned ot the car was a wreck and a conversion.

I sent him a polite email telling him there was no such thing as wide body cab. He sent me a BS excuse saying the c4 cab was wider than a c2 cab.

What if you use the "Report this item" link at the bottom of the listing?

if i recall correctly, he had a perry spyder for sale some time ago. a real piece of s#&t. and got real huffy in responding to some
email queries. all in all seems to be a genuine douche bag of some repute.

Yet he has 98.9% Positive feedback. It's hard to believe eBay doesn't care if a car is fraudulently represented. What's the harm in reporting it? I'd do it if I knew for sure exactly what was wrong about it.

Yes... the one that I used to own! He bought it from me on Ebay. I was so glad to see that thing go away, and so amused when it ended up there.

Absolutely none taken. It was a major POS. The funny thing was that it really was sort of fun to drive around. I got more honks, thumbs up, etc. in the 20 miles I put on that car than I've had with all my other cars put together.

He states pretty clearely below the pictures that the turbo and logo do not pertain to this car. His feedback states for himself.

Yes, I saw that. As with anything, buyer be wear. Know your stuff. Get a PPI. HOWEVER, it has this sort of fast-talking-barely-audible-monotone-disclaimer feel to it...sort of like the Ronco "your results may vary", from the as seen on T.V. commercials. I wish I had a copy of the "Factory Slantnose" Ebay listing that was discussed in the 930 forums on Rennlist. It was very deceptive. From memory, it was worded in such a way, so as to give the history of the factory 930"S" and then parallel the car he had for sale with a factory car. Soon you weren't sure which car he was describing...his or a factory Slant. The listing was run several times and with varying photos. The first time he showed more angles of the car, including a shot with the pop-up headlights revealing square lenses and not the factory round ones. In later ads for the same car, the pop-ups were shut. To be fair, it was a damn nice looking car...but a conversion.
