So the question is.. was it Snapple or Lipton iced tea? They say that while Dean Martin wasn't shy around cocktails, on stage he only drank apple juice.

Things are not always as they appear. Let me share a story with you...
My parents own a holiday cottage in England that they rent out for most of the year. It's a very nice little place furnished to feel just like a home away from home. On the top shelf of the bookcase are, or should I say were, two bottles of what appear to be very nice single malt Scotch for decoration purposes of course. My Dad is no sucker and would not really leave two bottles of Scotch laying around for other people's benefit, so these bottles were actually full of cold tea. On the last trip up to their cottage, which they do fairly frequently for maintenance purposes, they noticed that one of the bottles was missing. Upon reading the visitors book they discovered the comment left by one of the guests along the lines of "..and thanks for the excellent bottle of Glenmorangie...". Whether this was a joke, or whether someone really did spend an evening in front of the fire drinking cold tea we will never know...

You would be dead from alcohol poisoning in minutes.

NO WAY...
In my days of wanton debauchery I was allready toasted with Tequilla and herbal smoke when I chugaluged on a Bottle of Tequila 3 times (about a 1/3 of a Liter), chugged on a Quart of Bud 3 times and had 3 hits on some leaf material that was rolled in some cigarette paper all the while Edgar Winters Alive and Well was cranking from the Stereo Speakers. The result was my immediate inability to pick myself up from the floor, lucky for me I was lying face down otherwise I would be dead. I was lying half in and half out of the Dorm room with my face in a pool of my own vomit, while the RA walked by with his friend saying, "Its best not to see these things" as he went into his room. My roomate then dragged me back into the room by my feet and left. About 3 AM I was able to get up and head off to the showers. where I sat for an unestimatable length of time. Afterwards I went back to the room and put the trash can next to the bed, which was promptly put to use. The next day I felt like I was Green with alcohol coming out of my pores. Ahh that was the life back in the day.

I did something similar when I was 16 years old. Here's the story:
I went over to a girl's house that I had been unsuccessfully trying to bone for several weeks. She told me she couldn't see me anymore because of gymnastics season. She asked me if there was anything she could get me before I left, as we stood in her parents fully stocked bar. I said "I'll take a glass of whiskey & a shot of Coke". I proceeded to drink 3 full highball glasses of Black Velvet within 10 minutes, I estimate about 24 ounces. Some of my story, I got from the ER doctor & a bum at detox. I gathered from the ER doctor that I made it about 5 blocks from her house before passing out on a sidewalk. The Des Moines police picked me up & threw me in a drunk tank until, for some reason, they called an ambulance. I woke up in the Harborview ER (Seattle), strapped to a gurney by thick leather restraints, in a small room with a camera on me. I had managed to pull the IV from my arm, get both my arms & one leg free & was working to free my other leg when a doctor walked in & looked freaked out. As he was making a hasty retreat, I assured him that I was ok & not a threat. He asked me what I had drank & after I told him, he informed me that I was very lucky to be alive. He said I had a BAT of .49. I told him I just wanted to leave, but he said I would be going to a detox center. They were nice enough to wash my soiled cloths. When I got to the detox center, there was a career bum that say's to me "Oh, your that crazy Fuker from the emergency room". He told me about what I had done there (I’m ashamed to say I should have been charged with assault) & that it had taken several people to restrain me. I asked him what I needed to do to get out of there & he advised me to keep cool, answer all the Dr. questions in the morning & tell him I feel good. The next morning the Doc signed me off for release & I got into a van with 2 guys that asked me where I wanted to go. I asked them to take me to the closest freeway onramp so I could hitchhike back to Tacoma. They gave me $5 & took me to the bus station & I caught a metro/transit to a friend's house. My oldman had thrown me out of the house about 6 months earlier, so I didn't have a home, I just bounced around amongst friends. It took a couple of days to sober up & somehow I had managed to crack one of my front teeth across the middle. I also remember having a sore throat for a couple of days from the tube getting jammed down it. I've ODed on alcohol a couple of other times, but that was the worst. I've now been sober a little over 10 years, and I’m 42. If the guy in that video was drinking JD & didn't immediately vomit, he would be lucky to make it to the ER after he crapped his pants. I call BS.

I never really passed out, I remember very clearly what happened. When I wanted to move my hand I had to slide it, I couldn't pick it up.
There was only one other time that I got so drunk as to feel Green the next day. That was a night a friend brought over a 1.75 of Vodka and we all drank Screwdrivers while playing Risk all night. As the night went on less and less OJ was put into the drinks.
