Mine's going on the curb tomorrow!

Man that kid is breaking the cardinal rule - all Asian kids learn either the piano or the violin. His parents must be very unhappy

Not bad, but he's playing it the hard way. It's easier to stay in the 5th position for most of that solo instead of going down near the nut and playing open strings. But he'll be very good one day.

Uh....yeah, right. Criticize the 8 year old that can play Stairway to Heaven

That kid is awesome and obviously loves what he is doing. He ought to be simply awe inspiring by his teens.

He sure is doing it the hard way. I wonder how/why he was taught it that way, no teacher would approach it like that. I suspect some sort of software aid or like.

or maybe the little twerp actualy reads music....

But jeez- Ive just got my 8yo going, and he's doing OK with Eye of the Tiger- but that little kid something else.

Yup, that's a software or online thing. They always show you the gist of the song, but you have to figure out the right way to play it.

Pretty awesome. He is a little rough around the edges, but he will be really great some day. I suspect someone in the family is a serious musician.

I was impressed with his right hand work. I have to "anchor" my right hand with my pinky to stay in the right spot. He never seemed to miss a string...

Somewhere, an 18 month old Asian kid is being taught to play "eruption".

There seems to be a never ending stream of freakishly talented little kids. I wonder if this will some day translate into brilliant new music or just an endless stream of mimicry?

He was (is) very talented. But as the Beatles wrote
"There's nothing you can do that can't be done"
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung"

He's a tab player almost sure of it.

Ha ha! Page was very sloppy live, but his studio work was usually polished.....except for the solo for Heartbreaker.
