instrumental Spanish guitar
Anyone know of any good instrumental Spanish style guitar?
A buddy at work gave me a CD of a group called "NovaMenco", I think. I like em. I've tried searching for some, but I find a lot of music that's got singing in it. I could probably handle a little, but I mostly want to hear the guitar. Considering the variety that we have here and the amount of guitar guys, I figure I should get a few recommendations. Thanks. My dad played guitar when he was younger (and cello and bass). I remember him playing "Malaguena" when I was really small. I've found a great version of that on the net too.

I saw this guy performing in the street in Palm Springs one night and bought a few of his CD's.
Really classy Spanish style guitar, good feeling music. I love it. http://www.benise.com/

Can't go wrong with early Paco de Lucia work.
Entre Dos Aguas Also try www.pandora.com and create a spanish guitar station (or even a Benise station); pandora will play similar music by various artists. Good luck! |

I knew you guys would come through for me.
You know, I think I've got a song or two by Paco. I'll have to get some more. I'll have to try some Benise.
