Reston, VA
 

I will be attending training for a week in the Reston, VA area near Dulles in June. Any recommendations for restaurants, etc., that I can go to in the evenings after Im out of my class?

There is a place called Clydes in the Reston Towne Center mall area. It is decent - crab cakes, seafood etc. There is also a really good Italian place right across the courtyard from it, Paulo's I think? I will actually be in the area next week myself. I'll try to remember the other good places I have found.

If you can swing it, you should try to get into DC or Georgetown at least once. Lots of stuff to see, do and eat there.

Oh - if you have time and are into such things, there is a Smithsonian Air & Space museum annex right next to Dulles. It is actually bigger than the one downtown. Free to get in but $12 to park, but you might be able to catch a shuttle or share a ride with somebody.
