Any Pelican Groups in Omaha?

Hey guys I'm looking to make some contacts with Pelicans in or near Omaha for a friend moving out there who's been a fixture in our local group....

I live in Omaha - I'm not a particularly active Pelican, being as how I now have a Boxster, but I visit occasionally. JonT is an active Pelican, and Jim A (I'm not sure what his Pelican handle is) are both from Omaha.

We've got a really fun local PCA, with lots of track and social events, and some of the greatest people you'll ever meet. We actually had a person move here from Boston after coming to an event.

Lots of Porsches (even fancy ones - there's a lot of money rolling around Omaha).

Might JonT be a pharmacist? If so, I'd wager that I attended SDSU w/ him.

GM everyone--nah I'm not a pharmacist and did not attend SDSU. The local Great Plains Region PCA is really good and very active. Send me a pm and I'll get you the email of the membership person in our club. There are 4 tracks within 4 hours of Omaha so there lots of driving opportunities.

Our friend is a very cool guy (about 37) who has an unfortunate (terminal) health condition that only gives him a few more quality years. We take him out frequently with our "spirited driving group" and he really loves it. Thanks for the PCA references but we're looking to hook him up with some guys who like to get out there and tag it a bit.
It makes us feel great to share our passion for the Porsches and the runs through our local twisties with a guy like this. I told him I would try to hook him up in Omaha with some Pelicans who he could meet when he moves out there in about 90 days. He doesn't have a P-car but has learned a lot about them and you couldn't ask for a more enthusastic passenger!

I miss Omaha, the PCA folks there are very friendly and the tracks and events smoke anything Minnesota has to offer.
