Dear Mr Stuporman

I am going to put in a claim with Wayne for disability as I now have attention defceit disorder brought on by reading your posts.

Personally I think U really need some thick glasses or something as your vison is so myopic. Maybe thick glasses will help you see things more clearly.

The truth be told alot of people on both the right and left see the American Political system becoming dysfunctional. Where U and the others go awry is in blaming the oposing party for problems. It goes way beyond either Poitical Party or Ideology. The money that special interests have to grease their way has corrupted the system. No longer are you getting public servants but people who are there to serve themselves. The game of Politics has become ever more vicious as the stakes are so high. Unfortunately the system as represented by the Politicians has no incentive or desire to correct the problems. It will go on feeding on itself until the day when it will collapse under its own weight.

Same ol´story.

Politics is power, power corrupts, money equals power and he who has wants more.

It is all in good human, Darwinist, nature and has been the inherent pitfall of all governments and institutions since Stonehenge.

But it was admittedly a piece of work, rightly belonging in the 'German engineering' thread.

David and Nigel are both like, uh, like poets you know like
Shelley or Byron, or people like that. The two totally distinct
types of visionaries, it's like fire and ice, basically, you see and
I feel my role in the band, is to be kind of in the middle
of that, kind of like lukewarm water, in a sense.

I should have been warned before use. Its all your fault since you knew, now my brain cells have all been burned out reading the smack that these Boyz come up with. However with a bit of Thearpy I feel (mine is not a proffessional opinion mind you) in time I will be able to regenerate and carry on somehow.

I'm a little transparent at times. Not as much as you Tabs, but Wayne has me pegged. I do love to debate. And.....I have some unique experiences and perspectives. I may exaggerate at times, but I'm not lying. Just like Tim will never support a welfare program due to the chronic abuses he has seen with his own eyes, I have my personal observations about politicians and legislatures, and about labor unions. I truly hope my input provides some value to some. In addition to being a source of entertainment for me.

I have to agree with every remark you made above, Tabs. Except for your conclusions about me personally, of course. I know that the Dems are nearly as bad as the Reps. I know it is the system, rather than one party or another that is at fault. Actually, human nature is the culprit here. And lack of oversight. Bottom line: For me, it's all about people. to the degree I see an organization placing other interest before those of the People, you will hear me squawk. From my perspective, government is (or can be) a way for the community to pool its resources to create facilities and services that benefit all. Roads, for example. So....in principle I believe in government.

I do not buy into the blanket belief that what's good for business is good for people. Sure, I think free enterprise is the way to go, generally. I like market forces that are as unfettered as possible. Supply and demand. As Emperor, my economic system would look a lot like the one we've got now. But I do not think business will always "do the right thing" when unregulated. Hard to believe folks actually believing that. To a large degree, business' interests and peoples' interest are aligned. But to some degree they are antagonistic.

Both parties are crap. But one party panders to business more than the other. The other panders to peoples' interests more than the first. From my perspective, the lesser of these two evils is the party that does the most fighting for working men and women.

I'm probably not as wacky as you guys think. But then, that's for you to decide. Wayne lets me come here and play. I've tole him he should ban me. Lord knows I've tried. Perhaps it's Wayne's combination of patience, sympathy and amusement that allows me to stay.

I noticed that stuporman avoided this thread like the plague. I think he was afraid Tabs might push him down the stairs.

Edit: I guess I hit the send reply button a few seconds too late

Markus, have you seen the movie "Spinal tap"?
It's a comedy about a rock band that goes by that name , it's also what Nostatic and I are quoting from.

Hilarious move, if you get a chance rent it.

Right. Thanks for the clarification, Scott. I have heard about Spinal Tap. Good tip on the movie.

Reading your response made me worry I had really stepped in the mud this time.

Stuporman tell me again, who are the People that the Democratic Party is a champion for again? I must have missed that.

If I'm not mistaken Liberal Democratics have stopped championing the indivdual rights over societies and now champion the rights of the collective over indivdual rights.

The role of Government in biz is to see that the crooks don't steal the farm. One of the reasons why American Business has been so successfull is that it is realitivily transparent in comparison to other countries. Transparency in business leads to trust that you investment won't disappear in someones baggage to South America.
