Your opinion on Hugh Heffner please.
He must be the one guy who has revealed the innermost, primitive drives of the human male better and more obvious than anyone else. Here is the paradox of a guy whose products few men would admit to buying and probably frown at if questioned. Still, THAT product has been a best seller for decades, making Mr Clever Hefner a very wealthy man.
Here´s the $10 000 question: Seems nobody buys it, still it sells like ice cream on a sunny afternoon in July. It doesn´t add up. Where do all those magazines end up?? |
Certain pages end up tacked on my headboard. Chicks don't really like it, especially when a tack falls and hits them on the head.
Mrs. June has to be one of the hottest I have ever seen in Playboy. |
I have had a subscription to Playboy since college.

Those three bimbos of his have got to go. One of them is talking about shopping for wedding rings, bet she gets tossed first.

Hugh is a hero, WWII vet, entrepreneur and living the dream. All honor to his name. His magazine is a bit too soft for my tastes and there's so much better stuff for free out there on the Internet nowadays. But Hugh started it all.
|
I let my subscription expire when I realized that the centerfolds were younger than my daughter...

I subscribe and my wife reads them occasionally.
My wife was recently interviewing for a new employee. After they finished asking him their questions, they asked if he had any questions. He said yes, he wanted to know what magazines everyone took. My wife replied with the dozen or so magazines we subscribe to and then said, oh yea, we take Playboy too. She said he really liked that answer :D. |
When I was a kid, I'd ride my bike past Playboy mansion. The driveway was a long gated road, and from the street, one could just barely see the mansion. I knew Hefner was wealthy, and published Playboy. Otherwise, I could care less.
Not until I grew older did I realize Hefner's importance to free speech, so these days, I consider him a hero. I consider Larry Flynt a hero as well. |
Like they said when the Roasted Hugh:
They're not prostitutes if you pay them by the month!!!!!!! Regardless, he's lived the dream... |
Have been a subscriber since seventeen, 50 now.:D
Just passed 25 years married, wife never minded nor did any previous girlfriends. |

I read it cover to cover every month. And IMHO his sons have to be the luckiest kids EVER.

MJ had good albums back in the days, plenty of people i know have em
i even have em on vinyl , because the old stuff just plain works on parties...you're confusing freakboy "i wanna be peter pan and save the children" , with the old MJ who was a musician and performer of massive proportions... with few others on that level(James Brown for instance, who i even rate higher then MJ) |
His Daughter runs the Biz. A friend of mine is one of or at least was one of his security people. There were 4 guys per shift. Lots of VIP Security are ex Secret Service Agents.
|
When I was in junior high school all the guys wanted to look at playboy. I went to the local market and bought 10-15 of them at cover price and took them with me to school. Stuck them in the locker and sold them during lunch for 3X the price.
Read them from time to time but I get too many magazines now so let the subscription lapse when I headed to Saudi 18 years ago. They refused to let them, military mail or not, so just let it go... |
I only look at the pictures.....I think many of them wind up on the Bathroom floor to be honest.
