"The monster hog gained worldwide acclaim after he was harvested by 11-year-old Jamison Stone, a Pickensville native, with a .50-caliber pistol on May 3 at the Lost Creek Plantation, LLC, a hunting preserve in Delta. The big boar was hunted inside a large, low-fence enclosure and fired upon 16 times by Stone, who struck the animal nearly a half-dozen times during the three-hour hunt."
"From his treats of canned sweet potatoes to the how grandchildren would play with him, their stories painted the picture of a gentle giant. The even talked about how their small chihuahua would get in the pen with him and could come out unscathed." “But if they hadn't fed him in a while,” Rhonda Blissitt said, “he could have gotten irate.” |

Check your Northwest USA area to figure out who this egomaniac is. Shouldn't take you too long... |

The good thing is that even anti-hunters won't claim that this is hunting. It's shooting barn animals. You may as well go to the pasture and shoot a cow. While it may be legal (with the permission of a farmer), that would not make you a cow hunter. :D

That's what I like about the South
There's stuff that happens here you can't make up. People hang out at my shop just to watch. Jim |

You need to write a book about it. When I emailed you a while back that I would love to work in a place like that from time to time was not kidding. Places like yours seem to attract the most interesting type of people at times... some good and some otherwise! |

I've been keeping a few notes just so I can recall a few of them, no book deal though. 22 years have gone by awfully fast for 'work'. Last week I had to backtrack fifteen years through my FFL aquisition/disposition archives (my computer database started in '95) to find the record of a gun I'd sold that day. It was a memory lane kind of thing. Many of the names I ran across are still customers. Found the pawn ticket also. The place is more organized than it might appear to the casual eye.

16 shots and hit him a half dozen times? This kid couldn't hit a parked Buick! I wouldn't want to be in the same state when this kid goes hunting! |
