Sean Connery Not Playing in IJ4

Too bad, he was awesome in Indiana Jones 3--my favorite one, in fact.

God help us but Kate Capshaw--the whining, screaming bimbo from IJ2 or Karen Allen is rumored to be in the cast.

I would probably see the movie but with a whole lot less enthusiasm if the screaming whining bimbo were in it.

I can't believe that Harrison Ford is returning as Indy, this is sure to be a flop.

Nope big hit

What is this....
Actors coming out of retirement for movies that shouldn't be made...
Indiana Jones 4
Diehard 4
Rocky 400

Don't get me wrong, I can't really complain about another Indiana Jones, it was a great series of movies. But while they are at it why dont they call Michael J. Fox for another Back to the Future!?!

Agreed on the Kate Capshaw comment. Could do without ever seeing her again, but then when you marry someone famous who produces the movies its going to happen...

I have it on good authority that Rosie O’Donnell will be Indy's swashbuckling sidekick.

That's why she left The View early.

Have you seen the last Rocky? I think it's easily the best one.

"Rocky Balboa" was better than expected....however in no way
shape or form was it a better film than "Rocky". Come on, be
serious.

btw, the promo for the new "Rambo" looks totally cheezy.

Kudos for Connery for hanging it up and enjoying his retirement.
Hopefully the new Indy 4 film will have Harrison Ford doing things
that are more apt to suite his condition (note "condition" not
"age"). He looked pathethic in his last film as an action hero
"firewall"

Plus 100.

I saw "Rocky" when it first opened...what was that...30 years ago? No one had ever heard of this guy named "Sylvester". I just wanted to go to a movie and its playing time was right for me. I LOVED the movie. It is still a great movie unlike all its cheesy sequels. It was nominated as Best Picture but I honestl don't remember if it won it or not. And if I remember correctly Stallone was nominated as Best Director. It won one of those...

I don't blame Stallone for making them or the movie company either. Money is money. The original story was touching, well acted, a memorable movie. The others (except Rocky Balboa - an Honorable effort in my opinion) were poor....entertaining a bit, but poor movies.

Did you see Connery's interview when he announced he wasn't going to be in the show? He said that if there was one movie that could have gotten him out of retirement it was this, but retirement was just too much fun. Then he complimented everyone involved with the movie, said what an honor it was to work with them, singled a couple out by name for special praise, and ended with something like "What a splendid cast, everyone break a leg".

What a class act.

Connery? A class act? That's a good one. Advocates hitting women, what a douche.
