Sadly, China is the world capital of copyright infringement and the Olympic logo is no exception. In fact, I bought a few Olympic t-shirts and hats there about a year ago. Wanna bet they were made in less-than-savory factory conditions? If the PRC government ever decides to get serious about enforcing intel. property law, this would be the time to start. But they won't. It would threaten too much of their economy, were it to trickle down to other products. I'm amazed that our government officials on trade missions there don't press the issue more. But then, our folks only travel to Beijing and Shanghai and, when the big shots are there, the Chicoms clean up the street vendors for the visit. The next day it's back to normal and it's always that way in the other cities, where our trade missions never visit.
