Que Fernando meltdown in 3, 2, 1,.....

I expected this the minute Hamilton won. Its like a replay of last year when Micheal was in reach of a championship and Fernando blamed Renault of sabotaging his drive to keep him from having the #1.

Read along as he melts down:

Hamilton was Lucky to get a win

Everyone still loves ME not him!!!!!

Then the final meltdown.....

I do not like my team anymore...

Predictable.

well see how humble he gets after hamilton wins at indy...... :D
it's on :D

Jim Garfield 06-12-2007 03:22 PM

Alonso is an ass. I hope Hamilton humiliates him in the remaining races - he deserves it.

Porsche-O-Phile 06-12-2007 04:28 PM

Don't be surprised if Hamilton doesn't walk away with the overall championship this year. I honestly think he's got the stuff to do it - assuming Alonzo doesn't take him out before then. And yes, I think he would.

I hate to jump on the Hamilton bandwagon, I am a Red car fan through and through but damn!! He aced that track and never saw it before. I am indeed impressed.

I see one of two paths for Hamilton:

1) He peaks early and flames out. He spends 10 years in F1 but never matches his rookie season.

2) He makes MS looks like a go-cart driver.

This does make Indy a much more enjoyable event. 2 drivers on the same team, dont agree on things etc. I'll love it. Go Hamilton.

MS is a GREAT go-cart driver, so is Hamilton ;-)

I've previously made no secret of being a Kimi fan. I still like his style but I've never been particularly keen on Ferrari as a team. Hamilton is amazing and being a fellow Brit, well....I may have to switch back to McLaren.
I read this same story earlier on the BBC website and just think Alonso is a whiner.
This will be a great season!!!

+1

the only thing keeping me from rooting for the guy is the "bandwagon factor". I can't stand the way the British press covers him...

bell 06-12-2007 07:39 PM

after watching hamilton in his gp2 races it was obvious he had the "stuff"....so my cheers for him are pre-bandwagon, but who cares, i love when a rookie shakes things up :D

At least it's cured their Jenson Button fixation.

no kidding... that is one guy who has surely suffered more than Alonso out of all of this!

oldE 06-13-2007 09:03 AM

Oh Yeah, Jenson and Honda.

Didn't they used to have a Formula 1 team? ;)

Yeah, but they morphed into SuperBestFriends. Go Sato!

alfonso has turned into a whiney little beyotch. maclaren is too rigid for him. he needs to be among his peeps in a team w/ a relaxed mediterranean feel so he and flavio can work their schedules around sessions of working on their perma-tans.

ErVikingo 06-13-2007 10:38 AM

Alonso sounds like "Whine Pablo". I'm a tifosi but a driving enthusiast after all and I like Hamilton better than any other out there.

He is very talented and sounds sincere in the press conferences. Massa is talented but has a bit of bravado demeanor takes away from it. All of this while Hamilton keeps the boyish charm and grins at every accomplishment.

I hope he's around for a very long time. So far its been great watching him race and I look forward to enjoying many more races.

scottmandue 06-13-2007 11:15 AM

I was pulling for Massa and Kimi (in that order) but I have to admit it looks Hamilton could be the man to beat this year.

Only problem I foresee is if he starts winning everything then we will all start complaining how boring F1 has become. :D
