Castro district in SF upset
My visiting buddy says residents are unhappy with all the straight people moving in and ruining the neighborhood, driving down property values. Can anyone with local knowledge confirm/deny?

I think the bursting RE bubble is what is driving down prices.
Kinda ironic that many have picked "straight people" as their scapegoat.

I'll let the local SF people chime in but I think property values in SF (and all other coastal cities) MAY be leveling off but not going down.
This is probably someones idea of a joke.

the straight guys may be "undecorating" the neighborhood. we dont know how to pick window treatments. i know several straight families that live there. if i could afford it, i would too. it rocks there.
