No, that's not what it is. It's an application that shows you a fake Youtube video while it's screwing you in the background. Real Youtube videos can't hurt you, but a link that pretends to be a Youtube video may not be.

Maybe the lesson here is that mouthbreathers should stop posting and e-mailing links to stupid videos? Seems like every other OT post on some forums is: LOL--dude, you've got to see this!...

Perhaps you should have actually bothered to READ THE ARTICLE before posting. Like this little gem for example:

"The use of online media files to infect end users with malware is not new. A worm last October used a JavaScript flaw in Apple Quicktime to spread on MySpace"

Quicktime is also used by PC users, it didn't say which OS was affected, just the program.
