geeks and school marms: resume help

I was never good at writing a resume.
Now with 10 yrs gone by, its time to start testing the waters. However, I dont have my old resume and haven't a clue as to how to write one.

I have been told by an ex HR person, to keep it to 1 page.
I remember when i would use head hunters in the past, I'd give them a 2.5 page resume and when i went on an interview, there would be a 1 pager in front of the pertainant HR person.


oh, am a service tech for a major computer company, cant program, but used to be a sysadmin too.
