Shuttle and ISS visible tonight

The space shuttle and international space station should be visible to most of the country tonight.

You can enter your city here to see what time(s) it will pass.

Sweet - I am gonna take a look but it is not until 10:40 tonight for me. Thanks.

My wife and I saw them. They were much lower on the horizon and moving much faster than I expected.

Excellent - thanks for the info. Caught a quick glimpse as the clouds were rolling in.

Hopefully it'll be clear here the next couple of nights and I'll get to see them. From what I understand there are a lot of folks that watch satellites, etc pass by at night.

This is cool, thx

Looks like Thursday at 21:44 will be best for me

tonight it's too hazy and the darn thing will be super low, only 10% elev.

Sun both will be at 65*, and then next Tue the ISS will be at 80*.

I probably stand a much better chance either of those nights.

ISS and Atlantis are moving at 17.500 mph, about 5 mi. a second or 92 minutes for one complete orbit. VERY FAST! I think the shuttle lands some time around 1 ish eastern time tommorow in Kennedy. If you are in Texas, Louisana, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida be listening in for the sonic boom. It's nice being in Mission Control today when everything goes right on a mission!

Caught them again a little while ago. From our location they were much higher in the sky and the shuttle was much farther from the ISS. It was a little strange as they vanished suddenly when they crossed into the Earth's shadow.
