Looks fine, except that the HDD is 5,400 RPM, not 7,200. What do you need the laptop to do?

I will say again, that I have done a lot of Toshiba warranty work and their newer laptops have issues. Make sure two use the 1 yr. wnty if something isn't right. Also, it is possible to get exception codes after the warranty has expired, but starts to get difficult after about 2 months.

Thanks Dave...The laptop will be used mainly as secondary platform from the main computer...data storage at most...some office work...Is the Dell with the same attributes is better on the long run...Also I heard that the HP is not the prefered one...Thanks for advice...Syl

I never worked on HP or Dell under warranty. Of the three choices you gave, I'd go with the Toshiba. If nothing else, Toshiba is pretty good at giving in to the customer after the warranty has expired. Especially if you have more than one issue, but I have only seen one person get a new laptop from Toshiba. The worst Toshiba laptops were the 6100 series - they have a life time warranty now and the first gen Quosimo - we shipped those directly to Toshiba for repair.

Consider Toshiba's extended warranty. You can drive your car over the laptop and it'll be repaired or even spill the beverage of your choice on the keyboard and it'll be fixed. The basic warranty in no way covers vehicle damage or spillage.

Other than that, I like Fujitsu these days. I have had mine for almost a year and it runs 24/7 without problem.

I've had excellent (and significant) experience with Dell laptops. I bought my latest, a Dell Inspiron 9200 in March for $1000 and it's loaded and runs great. Dell is good at taking care of the customer, just my .02 worth...
