Anti-semitism and a confederate...Hell, Nostatic thinks I'm a racist too. I guess I'm banished next. So really guys, what was it? Did Fastpat state he was a prison guard at Auschwitz in another life or John Wilkes Boothe sympathizer..What did he say verbatim that as that terrible?
Actually FYI: Snyder is a Ellis Island anti persecution name for Schneider for people of German Jewish pedigree. I must have some sort of jewness in me somewhere and I was born in the wonderful state of Arkansas. So hell I'm no racist. I'm a displaced confederate in a multicultural Yankee Mexico.

On-line communities are fragile things. To many rants, pastes and vitriolic posts and they are no longer supported by and interesting to the broader community. I for one can be faulted for arguing with Pat too often.

It had to do with a question of dual citizenship and what it could hold. It involved Noah, a mod on the board. While all the Noah bashing is going around (and I am doing my fair share of it) I should also point out that Noah helped me to get my money from a deadbeat, I sold a cylinder head to. He had alot to do with the conclusion of a bad transaction. Being the bad guy in one thread doesn't make a bad person as a whole. ( I still owe Noah a beer) That applies to everybody. Some open minds and thick skins would go a long way here. Just seems it is much more fun to call names and add labels to people. I recon from here on out I will always be seen as a close minded racest....................because of my defence of my friends. So be it.

Just funnin....But listen, These sites attract those who like to compose there thoughts and publish them for friend or foe. I think if the emphasis of these were to be be politically correct, the vast majority would suddenly choose another method. Fastpat must have used no discretion and no taste/class on some of his threads. What could he say that would be a negative reflection on PP or Wayne. I really dont know or read any of his statements to come to any conclusion. But it must have been "Bad, Really bad". But if its any consolation, Nostatic seems to be a fair guy and can take a punch. Fastpat must have been really racist which any reasonable person has to conclude is utter ignorance. I dunno...I say slap his hand and turn him on. If he's bad again..Its curtains.. Bob

Fatpat was a playground bully and a bar room lawyer. If he could not be civil here why would I want to meet the ********* in person. There is no valid reason in my mind that he should return, if he comes back, so be it, but my response will be the same it was before he left. IGNORE He has nothing to offer that will enrich my life.

I don't think I ever responded to his political posts as I thought he was just too "out there" to reason with. While they were amusing he was a bully who seemed to have all the time in the world to come up with crap to agitate people- and got way too personal in doing so.
While his other posts were fine and usually helpful and informative I say who cares. Since he didn't want to play by Wayne's rules he ends up being the same history he so often manipulated. But at least he wasn't a "Rodeo"- that was one of the biggest jerks on these boards I ever saw. Not sure if he was ever here but he did populate Rennlist for awhile- before they (quite correctly in my view) banned his *ss and took the politics private. |

Rick, I stand corrected. Was assuming that the BBQ was Pat's idea so sorry. Hey, do not feel bad as Speeder stayed at my house a few months back and we found out that we agree on a lot more things than we disagreed on, so there might be hope!

Well, he certainly did add some wierd color . .though not the sharpest crayon in the box ...hurling insults at a mod (or two) -- not smart.

I did not care particularly for his or any other political posts. But it did not bother me either.
Bottom line - we all play by the same rules in Wayne´s back yard. If we are out of line and keep it up despite being warned we are out. Simple as that. The moderators are doing a difficult job very well. Ultimately it is not about the specific issues or language in the posts. Everyone gets a first shot and often a second to play rough. BUT - if I get told to back off and I still keep it up I am out.

This is ALL Pat did in my experience. Post inflammatory messages, espouse his National Enquirer version of history and politics while condescending to, and insulting those who didn't agree with his illogic. The only thing suprising is that the moderators took so long to enforce the rules. End of story.

Having said that, he wasn't one-dimensional. He had a lot of quirky opinions on many different issues. Would've been nice if he dialed back the political trolling, because I think he was often very interesting. The worst troll ever was Mul. I was shocked that he was allowed to stick around; he was beyong offensive. Someone once disagreed with him on a thread about deaths of innocent Iraqis. His response was to post a dozen pictures of people jumping from the WTC. He used to also say that the only good liberal is a dead liberal. That is one guy I wouldn't care to meet.

Jake,
You guys bring to light some intersting fellows I.e. Mul, Rodeo Etc. All this does is make newbies like me to want to read there threads. I like spirited loose cannons like "Buchanan" They're my type of boys! Probably like guns, beer, beautiful girls and Porsches. "Theres nothing wrong with having a strong opinion. Just dont give them too much power" My quote of the day...

Pat may have "trolled", but he wasn't strictly a troll. He posted about different subjects. Tractors, BBQs, grapes.... whatever. He was warned several times about his political trolling, and in the end HE made the decision to continue.
