Unusual things near RMNP/Denver
 

Well my wedding date is coming up quick and I just had a question for the PPOT knowledge bank. Anyone here know of any "must do's" around Denver/Rocky Mountain National Park? We don't have much planned other than a whitewater rafting trip for our week up there. Mostly we plan on taking it easy, but I was just wondering if there were any hidden treasures other than the park up there.

Stanley Hotel in Estes Park...

o Beautiful setting
o Old charm inside
o Listed as officially haunted
o Steven King stayed there when he wrote the original "The Shining"
o They serve "redrum" beer (murder spelled backwards)
o Located right in Estes Park, a great little moutain town
o World class fly fishing within 10 minutes

Highly recommend it...
