1 night in London-where to stay?

We are booking our itinerary and my daughter and I have one unscheduled night left in London. So far we are staying in Hammersmith for 2 nights, Paris for 3 nights, our last night at the Sheraton/Heathrow which leaves us one night left. I've factored all the excellent help from an earlier thread as far as what to do while in London. Now we need a place to stay. I've been told Soho would be a good choice. What hotel specifically would you recommend?

Tia

Hammersmith is in London.....

but if you want ot stay in central London then SOHO is a good choice.. a bit the red light district but so what...

or you could try the Sanderson near Charlotte street...a new boutique hotel that very good...

Garage
The Landmark is also very nice, check for deals on Expedia. Also a friend recently recommended The Academy in Bloomsbury.

Stay at the Sheraton Bedlgravia - close to Harrod's

Another good hotel is the Troy in Paddington - close to Hyde Park

Remember - the British Museum is free - as is the Tate Modern - both fantastic museums.

Just nicely returned from Paris - pm me if you require any info.

My family and I stayed at the Royal Horseguards because of its location--we could walk to the Eye, Tower and Buckingham Palace. Got a pretty decent deal on hotels.com.

Very touristy area, of course but you may like that. Great food at the hotel, too.
