New fuel source???
Hey engineers.. could this work?
'splain this, Loosey |
umm.... it's fake?
|
Even if it takes more energy to create the radio waves than you get out of the sea water, you could still burn a navy fleet in the very seas it sails in.
|
That is totally stupid; You could directly hook up two electrodes in the saltwater, electrolyse it and make a nice hydrogen flame too. The bottom line: How much energy do you put in, how much do you get out ?

Not going to power your car ... people have been using electromagnetic radiation to do cool pointless stuff since the dawn of technology. Like make ball lightning in your microwave,

Burning is not exploding.
Internal combustion engines rely on controlled explosions. The running of the Sterling engine is a red herring, as it operates on a completely different principle and has, to my knowledge, never been proven viable for transportation. Of course you could use your salt-water fire to run a steam engine. I can't wait to get my 911 converted for that. |
