safari beta

is pretty darn fast and supports windows download--a good deal faster than ff. http://www.apple.com/safari/

My observations/complaints so far:

1. can't keystroke to minimize the window (alt, spacebar, N)
2. backspace keyboard button doesn't go back a page
3. can't figure out the keyboard to navigate through the tabs
4. no spellcheck (ff only has this)

but with its speed, I'll figure it out...

I'm heading to the apple store today to pick up a mac notebook--got some new folks coming in here I can hand off my thinkpad to if I like it, which will prevent anyone from having to get a vista box.

Jack

I downloaded it, tried about three of my regular websites, and the graphics were faulty or missing in all. Unloaded and am still with FF.

Anyone tried Opera lately?
