Our PCA region had a one day DE session at Lowes Motor Speedway yesterday. I can sum up the experience in two words. Woo hoo.

Exit 12, drift up into the banked turn 1. By 2 I was rolling past 100. By the end of the grandstands I was passing through 120 and could hold that all the way through 3 and into 4, exiting 4 and drifting over to the wall at WOT and getting close to redline.

Footage from my in-car camera setup. The recorder was a crappy little record-to-memory device with poor resolution and a microphone that kept getting overloaded by wind noise.

I know how many of the youtube videos get harsh comments for the crappy music overdubs, but I opted to edit out the sound and overlay music anyway. At least I avoided techno and black metal.

Unfortunately this is all the footage I got. By my second session the camera decided to quit completely. :mad:

Great vid, brings back memories of PCA events I did there in the late 70's! Was fun letting the 911 run on the road course!!

I wish they would let us up on the oval down in Florida. Both in Daytona and in Homestead they keep us down off of it.

That looks like a total blast. Maybe next summer I will come out to Lowes with you.
