Anyone have a blog?

These are really cool.... I just put one together today to keep family and friends up to speed on our new life. The signup is free with WordPress and you get what looks to be a fairly powerful blog system that's very easy to use. Fairly addicting, too. Anyone else have one?

and the previous one (still not fully restored before the db crash):

Wait motion...what happened to Lily? Or does kayle look like a twin of Lily. Sorry no bogs here, but that is just a beautiful place.

Todd,

I'm digging your blog software. Looks nice and you get to brand it on your own server. Did you license and install it yourself? Cost? Easy/tough?

Tom - Thanks. Kayla (Lili) is going through her butterfly stage :)

Richard, that is MovableType (www.sixapart.com) running on my domain/server (isp). There is a free version, but you have to have a server to install it on. There is a hosted version though (typepad). I have wordpress installed as well but don't use it...I've run almost every blog software known to man over the years. MT isn't perfect and runs as a cgi which has issues, but it spits out static pages so even if the db dies your pages are intact.

So your location is no longer at the track?

I noticed you sold the CS (quite quickly I might add) on F-C. Quite a lifestyle change. Congratulations, truly.

I have spent a lot of time in Red Lodge, Yellowstone, and the surrounding areas. The Beartooths are breathtaking (no pun) and Hellroaring lives up to its name. Now you need a turbocharged vehicle to compensate for altitude!

Again, congrats

I've chronicled nearly every race and substantial modification to my racecar for the last 4-5 years in mine.

I'm considering one on the day to day of Little Traveler.

Richard,

Did not know you had moved to Montana. Used to live in Helena and its a beautiful part of the country. Wait until winter and until then enjoy the 6 weeks of summer. It gets really, really cold up there.

When you have sometime, take a drive to the best steakhouse in Montana. Sir Scotts Oasis, in Manhattan, just a bit West of where you are in Red Lodge.

Chris, nice blog! Just bookmarked it.

Having a mix of dogs and syncros with angle cut gears, talk about a bastard gearbox. Hope you've finally solved your problems with your 915.

Here's my work (photography) blog,

Nice photog work Tim! What camera setup?

My brother set me up with a domain name & blog a few years ago so I could keep a diary of my projects and fiascos. I try to update every month or so.

Thanks Chris. I am using high end Canon gear in combination with seamless photo stitching to get large format resolutions.

Thank you! It is quite beautiful here. Hellroaring is next on the list; I handled the Meeteetse Trail yesterday on the GS. Looking at Google Earth, Hellroaring looks like it ends with some incredible views.

Todd, I will check into MT. I like the idea of hosting my own blog, just as you are doing.

Joe, we will have to check that out. Kayla is a bit of a ribeye afficianado, even though I won't come within 20' of red meat and haven't for 25 years. Bozeangelis is pretty crazy these days... I'll bet a ribeye there is pushing $40.

Scott, we miss the SOCG guys, too. Its lonely having the only 911 in town.

Any other blogs?
