FS: 2003 Toyota 4Runner Sport V6 4wd

I wanted to throw this on here, before posting it on Autotrader. If anybody is looking for a DD or a family car, it's tough to beat a Toyota.

2003 4Runner, sport package, V6, 4wd, 65XXX miles. Galactic gray mica (metallic blue) over black cloth. Normal power stuff, premium JBL CD stereo, wireless rear headphones, moonroof, rear spoiler, towing package with receiver hitch.

We're the original owners, and it has had Mobil 1 synthetic since the first recomended oil change at 3000 miles. It's had Mobil 1 and OEM filters every 5k or less after that (book interval is 7500 with dino oil). In the last few thousand it has had Royal Purple synthetic in the front and rear diffs and transfer case, new interior and engine air filters, and spark plugs. Tires have maybe 20k on them, have been balanced and rotated regularly, and a lot of life left. Alignment was checked when tires were installed, and it was spot on. All maintenance is up to date, and I have all records.

Exterior is excellent, except for a few rock chips. My wife loves her 4Runner, and tends to park away from other cars. Always garage kept by a stay-at-home mom, so it hasn't spent hours every day baking in the sun while parked at work. No accidents, no paintwork. Interior is immaculate, with Weathertech rubber floormats. Seats protected from child seat wear by seat protectors, non smokers, no pets. It's been absolutely flawless mechanically, but that's to be expected with a Toyota. V6 has 240 HP, so it never feels lacking for power, but gets up to 24 MPG on the highway. Sport package includes nice alloy 17" wheels and hydraulic cross linked shocks, similar to the Audi RS6. It's no RS6, but handles and rides very well for a SUV. If you care to go off road (she sure didn't), it has electronic switch on the fly 4wd, with high and low range. Locking center diff, limited slip, stability control, traction control, downhill ascent control, skid plates, differential vents, all sorts of good stuff my wife didn't need.

Selling it has been very hard for her, but we've decided we need something with a 3rd row. It's perfect for our two kids, but when her younger siblings come visit (she's the oldest of 10), we don't have much room for other kids. Leaning towards a Cadillac SRX, so if anyone has a low mileage V8 AWD with a 3rd row seat and DVD, we be happy to talk about trades. Otherwise, we're asking $21,000 OBO, and it is located in Wichita. Title is clear and in hand, no liens. Why buy an annoymous and possibly neglected car from a dealership? We have owned this car since new, have records of everything done, and even the original window sticker. If you're looking for a 4Runner, or a mid-size SUV, you won't be dissapointed. Email is jessup3 at cox.net. Thanks for looking!

Good luck on your sale. Nice used privately-owned 4Runners in good colors with good equipment are HARD to find. Shouldn't take long if it's priced right.

Thanks kaisen. I don't forsee any real problems, from what I've seen it's priced pretty well. I think it's the best color combo for 2003, of course I'm biased because it's the one we chose.

It went well because of your patience, Matt! Thanks for not mentioning the whole PIN issue

All the best...my wife loves it.

Glad she liked it Paul. I just picked up an SRX in Denver yesterday. It's a great driver, but damn I wish it was as clean as the 4Runner. 8 hours of work later, it's still not there.
