What is your favorite sandwich?

Mine is the BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado) on toasted sourdough bread. Man, I could eat these sandwiches every day and they are good for breakfast, too!

Thick sliced perfect home-grown tomatoes on toast with mayo, salt and pepper.

Sometimes it's tomatoes, bufalo mozzarella, basil and a sprinkle of balsalmic vinegar on toast.

I also love traditional grilled cheese with a bowl of tomato soup in the winter time.

Rueben, meatloaf, french dip, BLT, turkey club...
I can't decide. I like them all.

Grilled cheese with tomato, mustard and black pepper.

Apple wood smoked pork loin, shredded and piled high with a little Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce.
Have one on the smoker as we type.

Pastrami on Rye, Corned beef on Rye, both at Katz's deli in NYC. Aint none better, anywhere in the world.

Or BBQ beef or pork sandwich at Crosstown BBQ, Springfield Missouri.

Too many good sandwiches to decide on a favorite.

A great Cuban
A grilled cheese made with butterkase
a great meatball
PB&J is hard to beat
a good sloppy joe is nice
and a BBQ beef or pork sandwich
A great hamburger either normal (mayo, mustard, cheese, lettuce, onion, etc...) but chili and/or quacamole are also great hamburger toppings
mmm, Philly cheesesteak
etc....

I like to go to a deli buy several types of meat and a couple of kids of cheese, and make my own Dagwood sandwich, but usually on hoagie/sub/french roll type bread and then either squash it in a panini maker or stick it in the oven on broil for a few minutes open faced.

A REAL cheesesteak from either Chubby's, D'Allesandro's, Pat's, Geno's or Appetites Delight - all in Philly or its suburbs.

Thank you Moses, the closest I can find a good one like that is Decatur, Ala, so my wife had Gibson's BBQ send me some packed in dry ice & a few quarts of the vinegar sauce. Plus just a bit of slaw, and man, good eatin'! I also like a good Muffuletta or just about any Po-Boy (as long as it's on Gambino's bread). Just can't get the right combination of "chewy" and "crisp" when you get inland of the Gulf.
