My new 1947 Ford 8N with Woods mower

I just came home with my new 1947 Ford 8N equiped with the mid mounted Woods mower deck. This cuts down the pasture real nice and quick. I know the deck is a finish mower but I keep the pasture rock free. i wish I would of bought one 6 years ago when we got our little farm.

Here is a pic of the 8N next to my '83 944.

I actually Zymoled the paint

I thought the logo was suppose to be red from the factory.

Why blue?

From one small farmer to another, that thing looks perfect for the job.

Love your view.

Speedy,

I bought a 4 Runner from Onewhippedpuppy last week and drove it from KS to MD. I decided to stay on the two lane highways as much as possible. I made it through KS and MS without an interstate.
Your picture of the road is very reminiscent! The only thing missing are the F350s that blew by me like I was cast in bronze!
Again, your place is right up my alley.

My old undersized rig was a John Deere 111 with a snowthrower which did alright up to about 5 inches of snow.

For the 8N I will be using a 6 foot wide rear mounted blade which is attached to the 3 point hitch. My neighbor at the dead end road has alot of 3 point implements he has no use for because he runs a Allis Chalmers which is equiped with the 2 point. I am getting the blade from him.
