Just added a Cetme to the collection.
 

Well , I just added a Cetme to the ole arms vault, the wood is kinda beat but I found a NOS set really cheap on the net so it is on the way, got about 30 mags and a bunch of extra stuff thrown in, anyone have an impression of these ?

I have a couple of P7's as well they are great pistola's , I have one I carried for years that was hard chromed , it has stood the test of time.

I like german designed guns as much as anyone but the cetme leaves me cold. An FAL also has the weird LS charging but at least it's a foot closer to the operator.
btw, beware of a MAS converted to .308.

I recently sold a P7 PSP. Super gun, but a b!tch to clean and way too expensive for a carry gun. Face it. If you ever have to use it, you will lose it. So carry something a little more easily replaceable than a P7. They are no longer made.

WIdeners has a decent deal on ammo... 200 rounds of Privi Partisan (sp?) for $90 plus shipping. Also check out georgia-arms.com and their "canned heat"

The MAS conversions if done properly are alright , but alot of them were not done so well, I have a the scope/mount and case for the one in the pic it is really a decent shooter, but really heavy.

Have several FAL's as well, different manufacture countries, one is a Israeli FALO with the short heavy barrel issued to the Paratrooper Brigade, it is a select fire Title II weapon and is difficult to control on anything over a three round burst due to recoil and muzzle jump,

Where you at in N. AR I am from there still have all the family back there as well,

Really dislike that thing!!! Carried one for almost 24 months in the Spanish Army (mandatory military service back then)

Great gun, if you got a good one very reliable, very accurate up to 400 yards (not the main use). I will not mind to get a Class 3 ....

I wonder why would anyone want to collect a CETME. I am luckier (and probably younger) than Jordi and did not have to do military service so I never carried one of those.

I can't imagine anyone in Spain collecting them ...

K9Torro - let me know if you ever bring that FALO to Florida... I've shot the semi version before, but never rock-n-roll... is yours a pre-86 deal or did you get it thru work?
