You know it's funny, I have everything this band ever put out on vinyl...all the odd ball EPs, 12" singles, LPs, bootlegs, rare box cassette tapes, etc., (even some very rare early New Order) and I never knew that "Hooky" was playing a freaking Ric on this track!

You guys too? I have really got back into Joy Division and New Order lately. YouTube deserves some of the credit. Totally amazing stuff, although some of the newer, more disco-esque NO never really did it for me . . . "Waiting for the Sirens' Call" is a great although newer song.

Older NO:

Regarding the Joy Division, I'm 38 (class of '87) and all I can say is that even though they were long gone by the time I was knee deep in their mystery, if not for my Joy Division records I'd never have gotten through my miserable f_cking high-school existence! The Chameleons probably saved me too!

EDIT: sorry to have shared too much info...prolly had too many Broker's Gin Martinis, tonight!!!

Great website thanks Jim.
It is very well implemented
To test it, I typed in "Crowded House"
and it generated one of their songs and
then it gave me other similar sounding songs
like this one from "Wheezer" and also an
oldie from "Split Endz" that I have not heard
in ages.

hillstomp is my neck of the woods. even got a sample on the pandora site, i was suprised they are pretty obscure.
