Do you covet Toby's loin?

I do.

It's goooooood, but it makes your pee smell funny.

Among the things my wife and I agree on is no asparagus will be served (or liver).

hahahha.

no it doesnt. you slice the loin into "medallions", place it over a puddle of wild mushroom risotto, crisscross the (the tips only please) espargus on the top...put all of this in the middle of a huge, white, eggshaped plate...then it is california cuisine.

nice din-din toby. i ate a plum last night for dinner.

Jims5543 07-10-2007 09:18 AM

I try to avoid eating food that is green. I would not eat Green Eggs so I use this principal with all food. It drives my wife crazy.

juanbenae 07-10-2007 11:00 AM

i dont poop right if i dont stay with the greens regular like. gotta keep my bowls running smoothly.

cliff, thats as close to cal cuisine as i can get. cooking for one i think i get a pass on the fancy nancy stuff?

will post a pic of the beef thawing on the granite slab when it hits the grill tonite. to make jim happy i will go for the corn on the cob tonite. how does jim feel about yellow?

From Ratitouille (or however it's spelled):

"Ya know, if you can muscle your way past the gag reflex, a whole world of food possibilities open up"

vash 07-11-2007 08:44 AM

Those were one pound tails. Plenty of food for four people. I think we even had some left over for lobster omlettes the next morning.

juanbenae 07-11-2007 11:01 AM

bob must be paying well. after my tranny work i will be eating surf, if fishsticks are considered "surf".

on another note dan, i called gaurd yesterday, mid august now on the LSD unit. i am sooo bummed out.

That sucks about the Gaurd unit being back burnered till August! You'll have to come over for a dinner when we get the kitchen done. I think the wife will be ready to cook up some good grub by then. So far its been off a hot plate in the garage, bbq, or going out for dinner.
This is where we left off so far.
