Best forum for old MB diesel
Hi,
Just picked up an 82 300 SD. What is a good forum for old Mercedes diesels? Thanks!

My dad has an 83. Great, great car. They are particularly happy on a vegetarian diet.

Yeah, I was planning on doing that, at least during the summer when bio-diesel isn't necessary.

We've run 100% canola up here in the winter for 4 years with no problems... two tanks and a 5 mile purge before you shut the car off.
You could skip the conversion and just do a 50/50 diesel/vegetable oil mix in the summer. Back to the car... any pics? How many miles? I love driving 300SD's... great, smooth cars on the highway and surprisingly easy to park. Built like tanks.
