Where did you find the browser download? Which Sprint phone are you using? Does it format the Pelican site so that it is easily navigable on the phone? Very interested.

To download Opera Mini, first you have to have a phone with an internet browser so that you will be able to connect to the internet. The browser will usually be located in your phone’s program list. Launch it. Find the browser’s “Open URL/Address” function and type in “mini.opera.com”. Then select the download link using the navigation buttons, joystick, or stylus.
Try it out. its a cool feature. Last edited by slakjaw; 07-15-2007 at 08:24 AM.. |

slakjaw said it....you can also send a text message to your phone for the direct download link from their site......you must have internet available on your phone obviosly, i pay sprint $15 for their power vision pak which gives me unlimited internet/some mobile tv channels/and unlimited photo/video uploads.
i have the sanyo SCP-8400, it's a basic flip type phone but also has a micro sd card which i can keep a bunch of mp3's and vids on, i haven't figured out if i can make my uploaded content ringers and such. it's way way way faster than my old phone and yes, everything on pelican shows up, including pictures etc.

I didn't futz with it for very long, but when I went to mini.opera.com, it said that it didn't recognize my phone model (Motorola Q), and it offered up links for a High Memory download and a Low Memory download. It said that if I wasn't sure that I had enough memory (it didn't specify how much was "enough") to go with the Low Memory download. I clicked the Low Memory link and it said page not found.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks, JA
