I think it's because short people are bad drivers, and most asian people are short.

Then again I was driving my GMC truck today on the left lane of a street and the Scion in the right lane decides to swerve right in front of me because she thought the parked car on here right was too much in her way. I hit the brakes and the ABS is going full overdrive while I blast my horn at her trying to avoid a collision. She blasts her horn back at me!! I look back and it some 30 something y.o. white b!tch yapping away on a cell phone acting like nothing happened. WTF!!!!!!

Well, I'm pretty sure everyone here knows that I'm somewhat of a conservative Republican and in North FL. many of the worst drivers have Jesus fish on the back:eek:

On the Asian woman thing, I have always loved them, some of the most beautiful & timeless women in the world:D

To avoid being racist I'll say drivers in Asia, and that's including the while fullas, are amazing. I nearly got killed twice in one taxi ride in Thailand from the airport into town. The first one was a driver missed the offramp so reversed back down the fast lane of the motorway, oh Gawd and the taxi driver didn't notice until I told him about a second or two before we hit it. The onther one was a driver on a slipway (road joing motorways) had taken the wrong offramp so drove the wrong way to get back on the motorway. Hee hee, what an experiance.

Whew, good thing my 92 964 C2 Turbo is not considered a 930, I wouldn't want 'static having a personal vedetta against me because I drive it.

I also wouldn't want to have to prove him wrong and the myth about turbo owners by not just quoting one of the greatest movie lines ever...

"Asian drivers" get a bad rap around here too. I have seen my fair share of questionable driving abilities from some of them.....

However, I think, at least here anyways, the ones I see are NEW drivers, so the mistakes are not racial, they are based on lack of experience. I have not seen any data to indicate any one group of people is more likely to cause or be in an accident.

I guess all native europeans are maniacs becuase they must all drive fast?? :)

People should not look at race of skin color or country of origin, but maybe experience level and who taught them what they know or don't know........

All sarcasic remarks aside. I do agree that many times comments like the original one comes from repeated observance. While I don't think I'm a racist nor wish no bad feelings on anyone, I've made similar remarks in anger or frusteration and sometimes in total amasement. Wrong to make these comments, yes. But, we all do it whether you want to admit it or not.

Has an Asian driver ever won a F1 race?

When Honda first got into F1 racing in the '60's they hired an American driver from Calif!

In the movie "GRAND PRIX" the Asian team also hired an American driver.

I rest my case....:D
