Bad driver observations
 

My observations of bad drivers. Gender, race, make of car etc...

Today, driving my wife's Volvo XC 90 from the burbs to downtown Seattle.

Indian/Black Female, Jeep Cherokee. Pulls halfway out of her driveway in a 40mph street to come out. Traffic has to go into the next lane to aviod hitting her.

Asian Female, Toyota Truck. Changes lane without signaling or head checking, my honk kept her from hitting me. 20mph city street.

Black Male, Chevy Truck, on freeway driving on 2 lanes. Freeway speeds.

Me in DT Seattle, pulls into a load zone to let my wife out to pick up some pasteries.

I live in Minneapolis. It's not a real diverse area unless you consider the schism between Sweeds, Norwegians and Finns a big deal. My daily commute is like Russian Roulette. The regular day is spent dodging soccer moms and Yuppy swine as they weave across the lanes without so much as a left turn singnal. More than once I've had redneck males in SUV/pickups try to run me off the road for no more reason than I was there and driving a nice car. I had one close call recently where I was merging onto I 35 W with the top down into a wide open slot that was several car lengths long. The @sshole in a Silverado that was well behind where I was merging floored it to catch up to me and literally tried to run me off the road.

My personal observation is: bad driver percentage - Almost everyone I encounter. Percentage who are lilly white: almost every one I encounter.

Bad driving is an American trait. It has little to nothing to do with race, sex, age or gender. Hang out in the middle lane at five over the speed limit for a while and see the people you pass and who pass you. It's scary and it's race and gender neutral.

I think this only goes to show that race or ethnic background has absolutely NOTHING to do with how a person will likely drive. And think about it...why the hell would it?

Listening to an interview on the radio the other day, the statistic: 20% of highway accidents in a recent Canadian study involved drivers operating a vehicle with their driving license suspended.

Perhaps the problem has something to do with Sh!!tty drivers facing few consequences other than Darwinism. Unfortunately, we have engineered in enough active and passive safety features, Darwin can't get 'em all.

Nope - this place has enough dumb in it to step things up another notch.

This reminds me of a story. I used to go to a large Christian church here in SoFLA (cause I was banging a God-fearing "Christian" chick who would drag me there). During the services, everyone was like "love thy neighbor", holding hands, God bless you, blah, blah, blah.

HOWEVER, when services were over, you should have seen the mob of un-civil hypocritical scumbags trying to get out of the parking lot...honking, yelling, etc.
