With my new mansion and all, I realized I need to travel with style too.

Maserati Quatroporte automatic. Engine from Ferrari 430 slightly tuned down but still a very vivid ride. V8 revving at 8k is really a sound to covet. More of a GT car and very comfortable at double legal limits.

It sure looked spectacular in my front yard - but I am a Porsche nut and although it would make a splendid commute to work it did not give me half the pleasure to drive compared to my old 3.2.

So there you have it. I feel slightly bad for letting you on, but I can proudly admit that our little vintage cars are more about the core pleasure of driving than this brand new Italian can ever aspire to be.

We still need to see pics of your garage :rolleyes: - Or did you post those? Anyway, post them or be banned!

Oh yes, Dave. I am on to it. I just have not had time to deal with it yet as I thought prudent to start with the house with all the kids. It needs a bit of redecorating.

I am off to try and sort a stalling issue with my Jeep GC. Think it is something called the idle motor (or similar). Now, if I only knew where to locate it among all the stuff in the engine compartment..

And I actually regret pulling your legs, guys. But sincerely, I could not dream you would by it. That car costs twice my yearly income.. And it would be a huge waste of money as it is right up there in between GT3 and turbo territory.
