Is anyone her a Rolex Authorized Dealer?

Is anyone her a Rolex Authorized Dealer?

I'm looking for some help.

I would like to check the serial number of a used Submariner on the stolen Rolex list. My goal is to confirm that the watch is clean before I send it in for service. I’d hate to find out that it is hot and have it confiscated. If it does show up as stolen I would return it to the place I purchased it.

Best,

Arron

Where did you buy it? Why not have the dealer where you bought it check it?

I purchased it used from a non authorized watch dealer in Downtown LA. I don’t know if Rolex will do a search from non authorized dealers.

If the shop had a two-word name, the second of which was "Pawnshop" - probably not.

Well if it is stolen and you have proof of purchase from the shop, with the SN then you could have them reimburse you if stolen.

Which year sub? Model #1680?

They will not give out any info on the database to consumers or over the phone. However, they will honor requests from other jewelers, cops, insurance companies, etc. Your dealer just needs to submit the serial # cross-reference request via fax, on company letterhead.

I'll ask my jeweler to submit the serial number.

Thanks.

Important part is to make sure you never let go of that receipt. If there is any issue then the shop that sold it to you is liable... if they are still in business.

Would check now if you are really concerned.
