Good AutoCAD resource
For the Pelican brain-trust...
the thread on workshop layouts and architects prompted me to ask here. I'm a new user of AutoCAD, primarily for lightweight arcitectual design, and heavyweight architectual viewing. Are there any goon resources you guys can recommend? I'm looking for good books, and/or online resources. Thanks in advance.. |
Cadmonkey.com is decent. This one's good too (CAD block exchange network - and yes, I already downloaded all the Porsche ones - a 944 appears surreptitiously in all my site plans). http://cben.net/

Look up anything by Lynn Allen. Her blog and tips are great.
did a google search and came up with a few: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=lynn+allen+autocad |
McMaster Carr is a good site for pre-drawn AutoCAD fasteners and standard hardware. Saves a lot of time drawing them from scratch. They are an online hardware seller, but have 2D and 3D drawings of many common items that you can download for free.
