The new bionic woman
Would you believe it, we can rebuild her! She will be faster, stronger and able to change her mind at a moments notice!
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kZ75jOuWsno"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kZ75jOuWsno" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> The really weird bit is she isn't the all American girl she appears to be, like Hugh Laurie the main character in "House" she is actually English. So the big question does her accent suck? To be honest it sounds ok to me but what would I know?! Last time I saw her on the small screen she sounded a tad cockney... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzEBr-KeNmA |
Can you say canceled?

Wow, what crazy new concepts Hollywood writers are coming up with.

Bionic Woman was around in the mid to late 70s. http://images.starpulse.com/AMGPhoto...29756qwfak.jpg And it sucked as well, lasting only one year. |

There is nothing that sucks that Hollywood cannot make suckier. :D

There was the Bionic Boy and even a Bionic Dog. Talk about whoring a concept.
It's the same with "All In The Family" or "Mary Tyler Moore" -- look at all the shows those two spawned, each progressively worse than the last. "All In The Family" wasn't even an original production. It was lifted off a British comedy, "Till Death Do Us Part." |
It's cheaper than coming up with anything original, right?

Late model bionic woman. Looks like at least the lips & t!ts are bionic |
Now we do not have to watch the first couple of episodes because it is all
here in this promo. 2 things: 1) Casting - They always seem to cast these metrosexual male types to play the roles opposite the strong female in TV shows such as this...especially today. There is nothing appealing about this guy that they have casted to play her boyfriend. He is no Lee Majors... 2) Her acting chops are suspect and her voice is weak. Visually she is oK but not enough in the hotness dept. to pull a strong weekly audience. |
