If I were on that plane I would sue the airline... They have a responsibility for my safety and well being, which they abused when they diddled around with the Royals.

makes no sense to regard them as royals since they aren't royal enough to fly in their own personal plane, or at the very least charter a complete airliner...

The time taken to resove this is truly silly. Minimal thoughts of profiling (and I am not suggesting this group were terrorists) would have identified them as high risk, justified their removal and prompt departure for the other passengers.

I didn't mean to imply they were terrorists. And of course they wouldn't dress the part, remember Leila Khaled? One of the first air terrorists and now a respected political figure! She left her robes behind.
Of course with profiling in use today it could be a double bluff, and the black gear was part of the cover;)
