New bass rig and stuff I got tired of carrying around a lot of heavy stuff! Bought his set up today. Ampeg BA115HP. 1 x15 @ 250 watts. Weighs in a at whopping 62lbs! Of course I'll still play the vintage Thunderbird, but this MIJ J bass called the "aerodyne" caught my eye too. Now my whole set up would fit in a Mini! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1185828721.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1185828739.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1185828757.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1185828774.jpg |

my rig is smaller (hmm, that doesn't sound right). For a small gig, my Ashdown ABM-500 amp http://cachepe.samedaymusic.com/medi...ee19970bbd.jpg and this: http://www.overwater.co.uk/images/products/vl-110.jpg 3-way 1-10. For bigger rooms I'll run my Epifani 2-10. Or if I need a bit more, both cabs. |

 looks like a svelte bass. I can't play a 4-string anymore though...I get totally lost. |

Having a garage full of "freezer-sized" cabinets (some from the 60's), I can appreciate now being able to go to a casual and be in and out in 1 trip these days. Congratulations! |
