Before the madness begins...

It's my brother in laws birthday.

We're having 40 of his best pals over for a BBQ. They all like cars and love beer. We're cooking enough chicken and ribs to enrage our vegan neighbors. :D

I'm not sure if I'm more jealous of the very cool beer cooler or the extremely cool BBQ setup.

Enjoy and be carful.

Tabby dearest,

As I write, the ribs are cooking in a smoker (not pictured). The chickens will be cooked on the rotisserie till they are juicy, tender and floppin' offa da bone.

And DAM why wasn't I invited? I could always suck down some SMOKED RIBS and ROTO CHICKEN thats falling offa da bones.

Nope. Still 215 pounds of wigglin', jigglin' man flesh. :D

jtfreels 08-04-2007 12:51 PM

So what time should the rest of us show up?

scottmandue 08-04-2007 12:52 PM

My brother in law works for a beer distributor. They are made in Mexico for use in cantinas. They bring some up here for promotional use. The one in the picture belongs to my brother in law. I'm getting a new one that has Corona's new design with the palm trees and the parrot.

You can get them at Lafuente imports. www.lafuente.com

By the way, my brother in law says that you need to keep these coolers FULL. If you don't, your wife will turn it into a planter box. :p

scottmandue 08-04-2007 01:16 PM

Thanks!

I think... just what I need... another excuse to drink beer!

Who needs an excuse?

The great thing about these coolers is that are so "old school". Just an icy bath for the beer. No electric cooling. Just ice. It has two bottle openers in the front too.

I'll stay under the house in that little crawl space...You won't even notice me. :D

Sweet setup. Like the sink right there, is that top granite perchance, it appears granitesque, if indeed that is a word?

Not a chance! By the way, you met my brother in law at the Fillmore. He and his friends are huge BHT fans. We're listening to you now Jeremy! Trekkor, head on over. There's plenty of beer. Gotta go, there's beer to drink.

CHEERS!
