HELP OC Pelicans: Need Battery Cuttoff Switch -in the OC
Hi Guys,
I usually use a cheap "battery cutoff Switch" that fits in-between the ground contact on the battery and the cable. It has a green or black knob that you just tighten to complete the current. This works great for collector cars or for just disconnecting the battery while on vacation. I typically buy these switches at California Car Covers in Chatsworth, but I need to get one in Orange County in the next few days before I go on vacation. http://www.calcarcover.com/product.aspx?id=129&cid= Does anyone know where I can get one of these in the OC? Much appreciated... Pep boys don't even know what I am talking about |
I've been searching, but none of the major car parts stores list it. Try a marine (boat) store. Sears.com did not have anything, but maybe call the automotive dept. tomorrow and ask.

Tried Harbor Freight? They had some the last time I was in there in Phoenix.

Hope to find a store in Orange County becasue I need to install it by Tuesday. I remember seeing it at a Hot rod shop but cannot remember where it was.... |
