Mystery Antique Automobile Logo

Does anyone recognize this logo? It's from a ca 1918 picture of a relative in a car.

I could be wrong, but I think it's an Oakland. They later became Pontiac.
They made cars from '07 to '31.

Doesn't the last letter look like a "d"?

1918 Oakland

If the Oakland car company didn't have retards doing their logos they probably would still be in business today.

Oakland logo was a larger script, in the center of the radiator core I believe.

I vote Stude.

Met an old guy that had boxes of emblems from antique cars. Cars I knew of and ones I had never heard of. He invited me to his shop and told me he'd make me a deal I could not refuse on his collection. Think I'll look him up after seeing this
