Kinda agree....I "daily" carry the .357 Airlite. If you are in a fire fight needing more rounds...you aren't running fast enough or are a crappy shot.

More rounds? Plan ahead or don't be stoopid and go someplace underarmed.

Are you sure that's how it works? If the firearm is already in the state, I believe it can be transferred, but I don't think it can be imported. I have a bunch of guns that were legal when I left CA in '00, however I do not think I can bring them back if I ever (LOL) decide to move back...

Dan,
My Kahr PM40 is a great carry gun. Reliable, accurate, and really compact while still being easy to shoot. I carry it inside the waist band, in a pocket, or in an ankle holster.

Gun show is next month. I will be seeking out the STI and the Kahr to compare to the Glock.

Thanks all.

This is what I carry as well. 442 model.

I wouldn't want to carry too expensive a gun for CCW. Sure, it needs to be reliable and you need to be able to shoot it well. But let's face it, if you have to use it, you're gonna lose it. I love my P239. I only have $475 into and they grow on trees, if I need to replace it because mine spends the rest of its life in an evidence locker.

That airweight S&W is not too $$$, the titanium frame one kinda is expensive though.

For the purpose, I want something small and loud. I have small hands and that thing hides right in the palm of my hand.
